The latest Pokémon expansion Twilight Masquerade is very nearly here! 1. What Is Pokémon Twilight Masquerade? + Set Overview & Release Dates
Scarlet and Violet Twilight Masquerade will be made up of the two recent Japanese expansions 'Crimson Haze' and 'Mask Of Change'. Crimson haze was released in Japan on the 22nd of March 2024 (22/04/2024) and Mask Of Change released on the 26th of April 2024 (26/04/2024) You can see their respective Japanese Booster Packs Below.

Twilight Masquerade Release Date & Set Overview:
We get our English release of the two sets combined to make Scarlet and Violet Twilight Masquerade which is set to release on the 24th of May 2024.
Pokémons latest expansion Twilight Masquerade will bring us to the land of Kitakami and revolve around the legendary Pokémon Ogerpon.
Twilight Masquerade will see all forms of the legendary Pokémon Ogerpon as Pokémon ex, full art cards and Special Illustration Rares. There will be 14 total Ogerpon cards in the set, one of which being its Teal Mask from which will getting a Hyper rare gold card variant.
The four forms of Ogerpon: Teal Mask, Well Spring Mask, Hearthflame Mask and Cornerstone Mask.

2. Twilight Masquerade Product Releases
Once again being a main set release, we will see this expansion include all the usual suspects such as the Booster Box containing 36 packs of Twilight Masquerade, Elite Trainer Box featuring a special art rare of Ogerpon, 3 pack blisters, premium checklane bilsters, booster bundle containing 6 packs and a build and battle box. Single Booster Packs of Twilight Masquerade will be available too and you can find most of these available on our website!
3. The Top Cards To Look Out For In The Upcoming Set Twilight Masquerade
(That Carmine is set to be the most expensive card in Twilight Masquerade!)
Dragapult ex full art card and the hyper rare Buddy Buddy Poffin card. Buddy Buddy Poffin sees high playability within the TCG so a gold card for this dynamic card is definitely going to be one to look out for!
Our Final Thoughts About The Upcoming Set...
Scarlet And Violet Twilight Masquerade is set to be a great addition to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. There are so many unique and stunning special art rares in this set and we haven't even scratched the surface of whats going to be inside! In our honest opinion, yes this set looks beautiful however I feel like with Temporal Forces we didn't have one mega chase card. Could you argue that Carmine is going to be the biggest chase card of this set? Potentially, however with these new releases it would be nice to maybe show some love to previous Pokémon. If we are getting a set based around one specific legendary Pokémon, why not include a special illustration rare or hyper rare of another legendary which would make a great contrast?
With that all said, I'm are still very much looking forward to getting hands on with new cards to collect! We will definetly be gunning for that Carmine and absolutely that Greninja!
