Top 10 Most Valuable Cards From Prismatic Evolutions

Prismatic Evolutions has become one of the most sort after Pokémon sets in recent history - and for good reason. This star studded set features the incredibly popular Eevee and it's full Eevee-lutions line up depicted with specular artwork from the Scarlet & Violet era of Pokémon.

Scarlet and Violet 7.5's popularity and demand can be put down to a number of factors however in my opinion there are 3 main reasons why this set has elicited so much hype. Pokémon's latest mobile game, Pokémon TCG Pocket has brought a huge amount of fans new and old to the TCG which I would say is one of the main reasons for the hype in general. The next being a Pokémon set centred around the ever popular Eevee Pokémon. I would say Pokémon fans have been waiting for another 'Evolving Skies' like set and Prismatic Evolutions has hit the nail on the head featuring all Eevee-lutions in that stunning Scarlet & Violet art style! Thirdly, Pokémon has ballooned in popularity and it unfortunately cannot keep up with the demand the way that fans want to enjoy this hobby. It can't quite keep up with the demand for all the collectors, investors and unfortunately scalpers trying to flip product and make a quick profit. All these points culminating in short supply with a demand seeing new heights!

Let's see where the market stands and count down the top 10 most valuable cards from Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions!

#1 Umbreon ex SIR 161/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £1200+
Prismatic evolutions umbreon ex 161/131

Who would have guessed that Umbreon is our top most valuable card to pull from Prismatic Evolutions? The Umbreon Eevee-lution has become 'The modern day Charizard' with it being one of the most sort after cards featuring as the main chase of Sword & Shield's Evolving Skies set back in 2021. It's no wonder this card has gone to the moon with a super cool lucid artwork featuring our Terastalised Pokémon in the centre.

This card has set the Pokémon card alight with essentially what is the definitive card to pull in 2025. Besides the Evolving Skies version dubbed the 'Moonbreon' the 'Sunbreon' is now the card to have right now!

#2 Sylveon ex SIR 156/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £500+
Sylveon ex prismatic evolutions 156/161
Sylveon demands a high price as our second most expensive card to pull from Prismatic Evolutions on our list. This candy pink coloured card depicts a curiously delicate Sylveon surrounded by pink bows, ribbons and flowers. This gorgeous artwork by Cona Nitanda is certainly our favourite of the 9 Eevee-lutions cards in this set really capturing that adorable, magical charm of Sylveon!

#3 Leafeon ex SIR 144/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £350+
leafeon ex prismatic evolutions 144/161
Leafeon has possibly one of its most beautiful artworks ever topping that of Crown Zenith and Evolving Skies. This powerhouse of a card depicts Leafeon upon a tree branch in its Terastialised form really drawing your attention to our little hero. The whole composition of this card is beautifully done and Jiro Sasumo should be proud to claim it as the card they created! It's no wonder this card is the 3rd most expensive card from Prismatic Evolutions!

#4 Umbreon 059/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Rare Master Ball Holo

Current Market Value:  £340+

prismatic evolutions umbreon 059/131 master ball holo

Now for something a little un-expected! How could a simple master ball holo rise so high to out price other Special Illustration Rare cards on our list? Well if its featuring Umbreon, there is a good chance it holds its value in todays Pokémon market. The Umbreon Master ball holo is perhaps the only other way for players to get their hands on a useful Umbreon Pokémon card from Prismatic Evolutions. Feint Attack and Pitch-Black Blade are fantastic moves players can utilise in the TCG. That and also the amount of Master Ball Holos included in this set, the chances to pull the one you need are substantially lower than other Pokémon sets of this era.

#5 Espeon ex 155/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £320+

 prismatic evolutions espeon ex 155/131

Espeon has had a number of heavy hitters in the past including that of the Fusion Strike Vmax secret rare. This glorious depiction of Terastal Espeon ex is an absolutely stunning card utilising pinks and purples to really make this card feel special. That coupled with rainbow borders, it's no wonder this card has earn't 5th place on our list!

#6 Vaporeon ex 149/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £300+

Vaporeon ex 149/131 prismatic evolutions

Vaporeon slots in at number 6 serving up a gorgeous blue to wet our appetites! This phenomenal card is a gorgeous sight to be hold and is actually one that we pulled from a pack of Terastal Festival not long ago! Of course this was the Japanese version of this card which is worth way less, however we fell in love with this card from that day forward! A stunning card and of course one to look out for as a Vaporeon fan!

#7 Glaceon ex 150/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £275+

glaceon ex 150/131 prismatic evolutions

Glaceon ex jumps in next with the most expensive Glaceon card produced to this date. Being a relatively new Eevee-lution, Glaceon still has a way to go when it comes to winning appeal from fans, however it's crystalline appearance and icy blue colours puts this card at number 7 on our list. Be sure to keep a look out for this rainbow bordered card when your ripping open booster packs of Prismatic Evolutions!

#8 Flareon ex 146/131

flareon ex 146/131 prismatic evolutions

Flareon ex is sure to be a fan favourite Eevee-lution being a gen 1 Pokémon. This hot little guy has a number of stunning and expensive cards to it's name. You can really feel the heat from this card and absolutely is one that will most likely make moves upward in the future!

#9 Jolteon ex 153/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £210+

Jolteon ex 153/131 prismatic evolutions

Jolteon ex has landed as the least expensive Eevee-lution card on our list. This card features an electric artwork produced by Illustrator Kantaro feeling more dynamic than the others in this set! We love this card and will definitely be adding this to our collection soon!

#10 Eevee 167/131

>SV 7.5 Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare

Current Market Value:  £120+

Prismatic evolutions eevee 167/131

Finally to cap off our list we have an Eevee ex special illustration rare. The most prominent Pokémon to be featured from this set is Eevee here, being the face of this expansion. You can find Eevees gorgeous little face featured on Elite Trainer Boxes, deck sleeves and all the other Prismatic Evolution products. You can't have the other Eevee-lutions without this card and so it wouldn't surprise me if this card raised in value gradually over time!

Final Thoughts!

Prismatic Evolutions has booted all expectations out of the window when it comes to how popular a Pokémon set can be at launch. This expansion was a perfect storm to create an insane demand for product and the cards inside. All this made even harder by even more difficult pull rates and prices for this set are flying. Pokémon have already announced a re-print of this set coming in the near future however that could be anywhere from 3-6 months away. There is so little sealed product in supply right now, we have even had suppliers emailing asking to buy sealed cases back from it's customers! Crazy times we are in for the Pokémon TCG. We can only hope and wait for prices to return to a more normal level, but for now I think we are going to be looking at high demand for product and singles until at least summer 2025.
